Richard Brown is a drummer/educator based in Vancouver, BC. His credits include work with Canadian artists Big Sugar, Ivana Santilli (Bass is Base), and Jimmy Bowskill (Blue Rodeo), as well as many internationally artists like Ernest Ranglin, Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown, Van Morrison), Yellowman, Wanting Qu and many more.

Richard remains active working locally and beyond. Richard’s screen credits include work with Mariah Cary, Debra Cox and most recently the on the NBC television show Resident Alien with the star Gary Farmer.

Richard has toured across Canada, U.S., Europe, China and Asia and the Caribbean. Richard is very active as a teacher and has been successful in mentoring hundreds of students in developing their drumming skills and nurturing their relationship with music.
