Join Us for Just Singin’ Round at the Vancouver Rowing Club

Music has the power to bring people together, build confidence, create community and change lives. On Tuesday, October 6, we’re bringing our community together for a very special evening in support of Empower Through Music Society.

Just Singin’ Round will take place at the historic Vancouver Rowing Club in Stanley Park and will feature an intimate evening of live acoustic music, dinner, community and connection.

Empower Through Music Society works to make meaningful music experiences accessible to underserved and at-risk youth across Greater Vancouver. The organization creates opportunities for young people to learn, create, perform and experience the transformative benefits of music, regardless of their circumstances.

This mission is deeply connected to what we believe at Horizon School of Music: music is a language, and everyone deserves the opportunity to speak it.

An Evening of Music That Makes a Difference

Just Singin’ Round will bring musicians and community members together in one of Vancouver’s most beautiful settings for an evening dedicated to the power of music.

Tickets start at just $40 and include dinner, with guests welcome to contribute more when purchasing their tickets. Every dollar raised goes directly toward Empower Through Music Society’s upcoming season of programs.

Meet the Performers

Just Singin’ Round brings together an eclectic group of Vancouver musicians, artists and community members for an intimate evening of live acoustic music.

The evening will feature performances from Kris Schulz, Senny, Cat Madden, Dr. Yvonne Skimming, Mark Fortin, Beverley Elliott, and Ethan Smith.

Rather than a traditional concert, Just Singin’ Round is about sharing songs, stories and the connection that happens when musicians and an audience come together in the same room. Expect a warm, collaborative evening filled with great music, a few surprises and performances from artists who are donating their time and talents to support Empower Through Music Society.

Every performer is helping us move toward the same goal: creating more opportunities for young people across Greater Vancouver to experience the confidence, creativity, belonging and joy that music can bring.
