Eric has been playing drums for over two decades. He started behind the kit at age 13 in Kelowna, BC, and has been immersed in music ever since. His background includes private instruction rooted in strong fundamentals, as well as performance experience in concert band, jazz ensemble, musical theatre, and a wide range of contemporary band settings.

At Horizon, Eric offers an exceptional learning environment with both a professional acoustic drum set and a high-end digital drum set in the same room, supported by state-of-the-art technology. This creates an exciting, high-level sonic experience that students genuinely enjoy and that helps accelerate progress.

Eric loves working with students on the music that inspires them, from pop and rock to funk, R&B, and everything in between. His teaching philosophy is simple: build strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging, musical, and centred around the student’s goals.
