Dom teaches guitar and banjo with a focus on creating a relaxed, encouraging space for students to grow—no matter their schedule or experience level. On guitar Dom specializes in improvisation, music theory, and learning by ear. Some of her favourite genres are jazz, blues, rock, and folk. On banjo, Dom offers instruction in both three-finger style and clawhammer.

With a deep belief that music can be both fulfilling and sustainable, Dom tailors each lesson to match the goals and lifestyle of the student—especially those balancing busy, career-focused lives. Lessons are designed to be a break from the pressures of work, offering space for creativity, personal growth, and genuine enjoyment.

In addition to private lessons, Dom leads a beginner-friendly monthly bluegrass jam at Horizon. This relaxed gathering focuses on learning traditional tunes in a supportive, welcoming environment.
