Meet Viral Bhagat (Pronounced as Vee-Ral) – Multi-Instrumentalist, Vocalist, Music Educator and Audio Technician.

With a diverse background in contemporary, classical, and multi-genre music, Viral brings a unique blend of skills to Horizon School of Music. He holds diplomas in both contemporary music and technology, as well as Indian classical music, providing a rich foundation in music theory, technology and application.

As a guitarist and vocalist of the band “The Burnouts,” Viral has left an indelible mark on stages across the lower mainland, including iconic venues like The Roxy and Lana Lou’s, captivating audiences with his musical prowess. Recently, he released a solo album called ‘Passing Circles’ under stage name ‘Viralinfection’ showcasing his artistry and innovation as a songwriter.

In the realm of audio, Viral is quietly shaping experiences of your favourite concerts. With a skilled touch, he orchestrates soundscapes at Vancouver’s most iconic venues, including Rogers Arena, BC Place, and UBC’s Thunderbird Arena. When there’s a major concert in the city, chances are high that Viral played a pivotal role in crafting the sonic experience.

His versatile expertise extends to teaching vocals, guitar, piano, along with more traditional instruments like harmonium, and sitar. Beyond conventional music education, Viral offers workshops on recording and mixing techniques, setting up and operating live sound, and scoring music for film/TV. This multifaceted approach ensures his students receive a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.
