Ricky is a multi instrumentalist that has been playing live in the Vancouver music scene for over 10 years. Ricky completed the Jazz Studies program with a focus on percussion at the prestigious Capilano University. Ricky’s teaching style is all about creating a fun atmosphere for learning while developing important skills that help students thrive in live music settings.

Ricky possesses excellent communication and listening skills that personally cater to each students unique goals and learning style. They offer a wealth of wisdom and guidance while demystifying the technique of drumming all the while keeping your lessons fun and inspiring.

Drawing from their experience in indie rock, jazz, and heavy metal, Ricky can assist you in learning any style of music. Some of their inspirations include: King Gizzard, Parcels, Billy Talent, Hiatus Kaiyote, Max Roach & Vulfpeck.
