Payton is a dedicated and passionate musician and teacher with over fifteen years of experience in guitar, voice, theory, songwriting and piano.

At ten years old, she was gifted her first guitar and quickly fell in love with all things music! Since then, she has performed in a number of chamber choirs, jazz groups, musicals, bands, and Kiwanis Music Festivals. Payton recently completed a one thousand-hour music therapy internship working with children in the Lethbridge school district and adults in palliative care. She is set to receive her Bachelor of Music Therapy (BMT) and Associate of Arts Psychology (AAP) Degree from Capilano University in January 2024.

Payton firmly believes that all human beings possess musicality and centers her teaching style around fostering this innate ability in every student. Her lessons are curated to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student to help them reach their desired goals!
