Hello! I’m Parisa, a passionate piano teacher at Horizon Music School in Vancouver. With over 10 years of experience teaching piano and music theory, I love helping students of all ages and skill levels discover their unique musical voice and enjoy the learning process every step of the way.

I hold certificates in Piano Performance and Piano Teaching from the Tehran Conservatory of Music, where I developed a strong foundation in both classical piano and teaching methods. Over the years, I’ve helped students succeed in many different goals—from preparing for Royal Conservatory (RCM) and ABRSM exams to simply learning to play for the joy of it.

My lessons are always personalized and flexible. I teach classical, jazz, and pop styles, and I encourage students to explore different genres so they stay inspired and motivated. I also bring a lot of creativity and playfulness into lessons, especially when working with kids—I love finding fun ways to keep them engaged and excited about music.

In addition to teaching, I’ve performed as a soprano in a renowned choral ensemble, which has deepened my understanding of musical expression and performance. I often bring those experiences into my lessons, helping students connect more deeply with the music they play.

Since joining Horizon Music School, it’s been a joy to be part of such a supportive and musical community. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to piano after a break, I’m here to help you grow with confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
