Jessica Bator discovered her passion for music early on, inspired by attending concerts with her family. She vividly remembers the moment she saw Billy Talent live and realized she wanted to become a musician. At the age of 13, Jessica began her musical journey with a guitar gifted to her by her grandmother. She started with lessons at a local community center and soon taught herself to play.

Her dedication to the craft took off when she connected with Horizon School of Music’s top guitar instructor, Danny Baruffa, just a few years ago.Under his guidance, she has refined her craft, evolving into a skilled guitarist and one of our most promising young instructors. Jessica’s talent shines both in teaching and performance; she recently captivated an audience of over 100 at our student concert with a stunning original composition, earning a standing ovation.

Known for her approachable and encouraging teaching style, Jessica works wonderfully with students of all ages and skill levels. She is passionate about helping others discover the joy of music, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique interests and goals. While her heart lies in ’90s alternative rock (with favorites like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age, and Weezer), Jessica’s diverse musical tastes make her eager to explore new genres and artists alongside her students.
