Madeleine Elkins

Madeleine has been playing guitar for more than half her life! In the past ten years she has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz studies at Capilano University, played in musicals and in a wide variety of bands.

Today she is regularly performing in venues around Vancouver playing music that varies from Folk to Rock to Jazz. With years of teaching experience, Madeleine is a passionate educator.

She hopes to create an inclusive learning environment where she can inspire her students to reach their goals. She has experience teaching guitar, voice, ukulele, and even banjo!

When I have a lesson with Eli, its more like just jamming with a friend. He allows me to learn what I want to learn, not only what he wants to teach.
